i have never seen "graffiti bridge". what was i doing in 1990? who knows, probably playing with my barbies & watching "teenage mutant ninja turtles"(or something).

ingrid chavez is the female lead(why i will never know).madonna turned down that role because she said it was a horrible script, which is saying a lot. very disappointed in "under the cherry moon" but i hope gb will be much better. 2 minutes in & already enjoying the awful 1990s vintage clothes. time for my beauty rest, will watch the rest of the movie tomorrow night.

20:44 it's distracting that ingrid chavez looks like a drowned rat. is that really the best they could do? i KNOW vanity & appolonia were available at the time. ick. prince's clothes & faux rap posturing are making me sad. prince/"purple rain" was great for the rock influences. this is just trying to be what it is not. prince could never be a gangster or even hard core(do gangsters wear rollers?). his adam ant makeup also distresses me, though i love it when adam is the naughty highwayman. "graffiti bridge" is just trying too hard. :-(
