prodigies & designer children

a couple of days ago, i noticed a 60+ year old man hand in hand with his 40 year old son walking to school. my first thought was "Wow, that's really cute". then i thought, it was a shame because the old man should have been playing with grandkids once a week instead of still "raising" his grown son

later that day i saw a Mexican woman with a Downs syndrome toddler. the baby kept hitting her head on the handrest of her stroller. i got a little heated watching, the mom wasn't paying attention. i'm sure the baby did that all day long. i thought "How could anyone in America choose to have a retarded baby?". then i thought, "Maybe she had it in Mexico".

with all the screening that is done these days(in non 3rd world countries), there really should not be any retarded children.

i was reading a book about the various deformities & all the ways human genes can go awry.i almost threw up reading said book, so i will not say the title here. one infant was born with 21 parasitic siblings growing from its brain. how did they know that, you may ask. well, because they counted the amount of legs(barf).

if i had a deformed baby, i really would not know what to do(plus i know i would be PISSED if i had just an ugly baby). i am definitely pro choice & would have a designer baby. why not pick the best kind of baby you can have? why waste 9 months to form a loser? yes, i know how superficial this sounds but why would you NOT want your child to have every advantage in life? when i see an unattractive couple with children it makes me want to vomit. people with good genes should not be reproducing their horrible genes(& you know it's the ones that should not have children that end up having the most).

ok, rant over. i is bored. use a condom, kids. & always look both ways before crossing the street!
